Freddy Collier Jr. is a strategic leader with extensive expertise in urban planning, organizational development, public policy, and strategic planning. He holds a bachelor’s degree in urban studies (urban planning concentration) and a master’s degree in public administration. Freddy has earned certifications in population health and sustainability.
With experience across public, private, and non-profit sectors, Freddy currently serves as Senior Vice President of Strategy & New Initiatives at the Greater Cleveland Partnership. In this role, he collaborates with executive leadership to
advance organizational priorities, align strategies, and monitor performance. He leads efforts to implement GCP’s ALL-IN Plan—driving organizational direction and fostering regional collaboration for greater competitiveness.
Freddy also identifies emerging trends impacting Greater Cleveland and works within GCP and with agency partners on strategies to best position our community amid social, economic, and environmental change. Previously, he was Director of City Planning for the City of Cleveland where he led significant planning and development initiatives at the neighborhood, city, and regional level.
